What Troy does on site

What Does On-Site Welding Cover?

On-site welding is the planned welding, fabrication and repair work Troy does where the job is, instead of in a workshop. It covers installations, modifications, farm and industrial maintenance, and high-access work. Troy works in mild steel, stainless steel, aluminium and structural steel, using MIG, TIG, Arc/Stick and oxy-acetylene.

It suits work that can’t easily travel, such as a structure already in place or plant that has to stay on site. Troy works alongside your crew and other trades. He’s happy to use your on-site equipment where it’s available.

What on-site work does Troy take on?

Farm and industrial maintenance

Structural steel: columns, posts and beams

Which sites can Troy work on?

Farms, civil and earthmoving sites, quarries and mine sites, commercial and industrial sites, and other businesses’ workshops. His purpose-fitted 4WD ute carries onboard power, a tested-and-tagged welding generator and a site-rated fire extinguisher.

Is Troy licensed for high-access and lifting work?

Yes. Troy holds Victorian high risk work licences for EWP, dogging, forklift and C6 crane, and the C6 crane licence also covers telehandler work. That lets him take on overhead welding, gantry crane projects and jobs that need a lift on site.
